2019 is going to be the year I get fit. Lost some weight and het healthier.

It all starts with this blog. 

Al lot will change in the coming weeks but I figured if I don’t get started, I will never do it. And if I don’t go live, I never will. So here it goes. 

Patti (my wife and much more significant other) and I have joined Orange Theory.

We went to one class and I do firmly believe it wil kill me long before I get healthy, so it seemed to make sense to pay for my own demise at the hands of them. The decision was not lightly hosen to be honest.

I have been a member of LA Fitness for about $4,318.56. That would be 12 years at 29.99 a month. I thought of that when I looked in the mirror in November and thought… “Money well spent”

Or not.

Actually, definitely not.

It is all about motivation, and I didn’t have any. Work, the kids, stuff to do around the house… uhm… my workout clothes were miss-placed…

Yes was pretty creative in my excuses I thought.

But really, it was just being lazy and my belly showed it. My age also did as well. I ain’t no spring chicken. And when I used to lose weight – I’d stop going to Mcd’s, drop the Coke, and walk the dogs a couple time a day. I could drop 10 pounds a month, and did a few years ago.

But this time it is different, my weight is so high (at least for me), that I need to do something drastic, and something that I will follow through on for 6-months. Then regroup.

Here we go…

PS. I will make the site look better over time, for now, it’s all about getting started.
